Davenport House

Over the years, I’ve had the honour of capturing various celebratory moments at Davenport House. T o this day, this sanctuary still remains as one of my favourite wedding photography venue spots in the UK. The good news is you don't have to rely on my opinion alone, as the Wedding Industry Awards recognised Davenport House as the 'BestHistoric Venue of the Year 2023.’ Underscoring the timeless appeal and outstanding venue quality, there’s a good reason why it is ranked so highly. Restored in 2017, Davenport House is a Georgian building that can sleep 40. Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Shropshire, it really is a breathtakingly beautiful place that offers a truly magical setting for any wedding celebration. You can choose from nine beautifully decorated bedrooms to stay in, alongside five quaint cottages on the grounds. Put simply, bedecked with elegant decor and completely surrounded by lush gardens, Davenport House is nothing short of a fairytale venue.

I should probably admit that I’m fully prepared to offer myself up for sale, in exchange for the opportunity to photograph a wedding at Euridge Manor. A place located in the privacy of the Wiltshire countryside, this exceptionally luxurious private country estate is honestly beyond any of your wildest wedding dreams. Available to hire for weddings, exclusive events, birthday celebrations and engagement parties, the manor is located in the privacy of the Wiltshire countryside.

With an exclusive number of slots available, Euridge Manor goes above and beyond to ensure that each celebration is tailored to the wedding couple’s personalities and desires. Whether it’s the fairy-tale ambiance, edgy decadence, twinkling lights or exquisite decor you’re after, the team of experts are ready to guide couples through the planning process, recommending trusted suppliers and creative ideas along the way. On the big day, you will have exclusive use of the grounds, alongside making use of the accommodation that can sleep up to 11 guests.

For any indoor wedding ceremonies, couples can choose from two stunning spaces at Euridge Manor. The Orangery can have up to 120 guests, and is surrounded by elegant palms and fountains. The grand Ballroom on the other hand can accommodate up to 150 loved ones in a magnificent setting. If a traditional ceremony is preferred, the picturesque 12th Century Saxon stone church of St John the Baptist is located just two short miles away.
