Based on the border of Worcestershire and Warwickshire, Gorcott Hall offers the perfect blend between easy to access and that peaceful countryside feeling. There’s plenty of local hotels for those that have travelled from further afar too.

Mark, Allie and the wonderful team at Gorcott Hall are absolutely brilliant. I have had the privilege of seeing the way they support their couples leading up to and during their day. Not only that, but they are brilliant at working with outside suppliers to make sure the day flows perfectly. From granting me access to spaces so I can hang out of windows for that all important group shot, to constant communication on timings throughout the day, they really are a dream to work with. It really is a collaborative experience.
Architecture and decor of wedding dreams
You don’t need me tell you that Gorcott Hall is beautiful. It is undeniably gorgeous. What stands it apart is the variety of the spaces and the attention to detail across the entire country house. The standout spaces for me are the sitting room with adjoining library and the show stopping Bridal Gown Suite.
Wedding prep is such an important part of the day, filled with so much excitement and the Bridal Gown Suits is a stunning, purpose-built location to get ready for a day of celebrations. From make-up and hair to the first look with your most treasured family and friends, this space sees it all. Beautifully!
The sitting room is transformed into the ceremony room of dreams, comfortably seating up to 70 guests, I love the how the space adapts to all seasons, letting in lots of lovely natural light through the windows so that the space always reflects the season and weather of your special day.
The adjoining library is an atmospheric space that offers a stunning backdrop for editorial portraits. The light is dramatic and cinematic, ideal for couples who love a vintage feel to their photos.
The Grounds
With five acres and a lake on the grounds of Gorcott Hall, you would expect lots of outdoor space to take photos. It’s the variety of the space, landscape and building that make Gorcott Hall wedding photography gold. The field and lake is perfect for more wild feeling, sweeping landscapes with an all-round botanical feel.
The gardens are perfect for more formal backdrops, where I get to use the textures and forms of walls, gates and seasonal planting to add a quitessential British theme to portraits. Every time I photograph a wedding at Gorcott Hall, I find a new spot or angle to create something unique for my couples. I can’t get enough. Don’t even get me started on the Wisteria archway!
